A leading European financial website decided to launch their own poker website recently, rather than to go the affiliate poker room route. Advanced Financial Network could have followed a popular option when it came to tapping into its very large registered membership rolls by setting up an affiliate relationship with an established poker room. Instead they underwent the expense in order to launch a branded website, hoping to trade off of brand loyalty.
The site, www.advfnpoker.com, will give Advanced Financial Network the chance to offer its 400,000 registered members a place to play online poker, something the site says its members have been interested in doing. Texas Hold'em, Stud, Omaha, and Heads-Up poker will be available on the site, and the poker fans can chat with one another live on the site as well. |
